THE BEST SMOOTHIE EVER // The Kitchy Kitchen

This is my new green smoothie, and I’m pretty obsessed with it (hence the title of this post).  It’s sweet, it’s spicy, it’s green, it’s ALL THE THINGS. It also manages to be creamy, without having any type of dairy or almond milk in it. Hope you dig it as much as I do!

For 3 cups

1 large handful spinach

1 mango, chopped

1 cup coconut water

1 cup cucumber, chopped

1/4 jalapeno chopped

1 small handful cilantro

2 sprigs mint

1 lime, juiced

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and puree thoroughly.  If you want it to be thicker/colder, make sure the mango, coconut water, and cucumber are from the fridge, or you could even freeze the coconut water in an ice cube tray and use that. Enjoy!

I have to agree, this is the best tasting green smoothie I’ve tried. It has flavour. And it’s so refreshing to find green smoothie recipe without bananas as the base. I would rate this one 5 stars!

    This recipe really sounds interesting!
Yes, I’ve used spinach and I’ve used cucumber for my green smoothie, but I’ve never tried jalapeno so far 🙂
I’m def gonna try it!! 🙂

This looks wonderful! Fresh jalapeño is one of my favorite things, and I so love sweet and spicy together.
One question: do you think that this would be as tasty with coconut milk as it is with coconut water?

This is fantastic! My only question is since this makes 3 cups how long can you store the extras for? Anyone try this out yet?

Yum! Made this this morning and I’m hooked! I used a green apple and a couple of pineapple chunks because that’s what I had on hand. Tomorrow I’m going to try it adding a stick of lemongrass! Thanks!
