2 1/2 ounces rye whiskey
1/2 ounces amaro averna
1/2 ounces benedictine
2 dashes angostura bitters
Combine the ingredients in a large glass or cocktail shaker. Fill 2/3 full with ice, and stir for about 15 seconds, strain into a chilled glass.
