Somewhere between dessert and cocktails lies Irish Coffee. It’s sweet, but with a bite from the spicy Irish whiskey. This isn’t a traditional Irish Coffee, which has sugar mixed in and a float of unwhipped cream on top, but I love the velvety texture the whipped cream gives the coffee, plus the cinnamon is a nice touch too. INGREDIENTS
3 ounces strong coffee
1 ounces Irish whiskey
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 teaspoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
Brew some coffee, pour it in a cup, and stir in the whiskey. Meanwhile, whip the cream, sugar, and cinnamon together until soft peaks form. Top the cream on the coffee, and serve as is, or you can stir it all together.
