Creamy, rich, and green green green, this smoothie is one of my favorites. I typically don’t go for green drinks, but this has a lovely richness and mild sweetness that makes it balanced. Enjoy!
For two 12-ounce smoothies
About 200 calories per smoothie
5 pieces kale, stem removed, leaves roughly chopped or torn
1 small handful parsley
1 medium avocado, peel and pit removed
2 kiwis, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons agave nectar
2 cups almond milk (half frozen in an ice cube tray for an extra cold smoothie)
Pop the ingredients in a blender, and go from mix to liquify in steps. Let it blend on liquify (or the highest setting) for 30 seconds. The trick to this smoothie is REALLY blending it. Taste and add more almond/coconut milk if you like a thinner consistency.
