INGREDIENTS

1 ounce mezcal

2 ounce grapefruit juice

1/4 teaspoon ancho chili powder

4 ounce rose soda (or soda plus 1/2 teaspoon rosewater and 1 teaspoon simple syrup)

DIRECTIONS

Over tons of ice, stir together mezcal, grapefruit juice, and ancho chili powder for 15 seconds. Strain into a high ball, top with rose soda, and garnish with a grapefruit peel.
