Gooey, crunchy, oozing with chocolate – s’mores are one of my favorite summertime treats. The one knock against them is that they don’t involve doughnuts – until now!
I’m only being partially facetious, because, let’s be real, doughnuts almost improve everything. This isn’t even a recipe, really. I mean, unless you consider s’mores a recipe. It’s basically a composed plate. Ok, enough rambling, there’s a s’mores doughnut to be made!
INGREDIENTS
1 doughnut
2 tablespoons melted chocolate
1/4 cup mini marshmallows
1/4 cup chopped up graham crackers
Large marshmallows, to taste
Chocolate bar
DIRECTIONS
Dip the top of the doughnut in the melted chocolate (or spread it over the top, whichever is easier) and immediately sprinkle with mini marshmallows and graham crackers. Let the doughnut set for 5 minutes. Slice in half, and top with toasted marshmallows and squares of chocolate. Enjoy!
