One of my favorite warm weather treats is grilled nectarines. They are so juicy and flavorful and there is something about grilling fruit that just screams summer. Today I’m enjoying a day at Oeste Home with some loved ones and I’m preparing one of my summer staples – grilled nectarines over whipped mascarpone with honeycomb on top. It’s the perfect light and sweet summer dessert.
I used the Food Network Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Reversible Grill from Kohls to get the perfect grill on my fruit. It’s so easy to use and clean. Click here to shop and see below for the recipe!
*For 4 people
4 yellow nectarines, halved and pits removed
2 tablespoons olive oil
12 oz mascarpone
1/2 cup almonds, roughly chopped
Salt to taste
Honey, for garnish
Heat the Food Network Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Reversible Grill over high heat. Once heated, add the nectarine halves, face down. Grill for 1 minute until dark lines form. Remove from grill. Whip the mascarpone with a whisk until fluffy. To serve, swipe some mascarpone onto the plate, top with nectarines, and garnish with almonds and honey. Enjoy!
