SUCCULENTS

Succulents are a mainstay here in southern California.  Hoarding water in their fleshy leaves, they’re like the prettier, less likely to spit, garden version of a camel.  They require minimal upkeep, look architectural and interesting, and aren’t particularly expensive.  So much win happening with these guys!

One thing I hadn’t thought of before, was including these little guys in a floral bouquet.  I would’ve thought that their plastic appearance would’ve clashed with flowers’ soft, delicate beauty.  But I love the bit of structure they bring, and they’re guaranteed to make your bouquet last a little longer, if you refresh the regular flowers when they die out.

Such a fresh take on traditional bouquets!
